Who runs this site

Purple Timing (purpletiming.com) is an independent, unofficial fan project covering F1, WEC, MotoGP and WRC schedules, results and standings. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Formula 1, the FIA, FIA WEC, MotoGP, Dorna Sports, WRC Promoter, or Liberty Media.

What we don't collect

There are no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and no first-party tracking beyond basic, privacy-respecting site analytics (page views, not individual profiles) if enabled. We don't sell personal data.

Cookies

This site does not currently set any cookies. Links out to X (Twitter) accounts open on x.com itself rather than being embedded here, so nothing from X loads on this site. That will change if/when the sections below go live — this page will be updated first, together with a cookie-consent banner, before that happens.

Google AdSense [not yet enabled] — once active, may use cookies to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required (e.g. EU/UK/Switzerland), ad personalization will be gated behind consent (Google Funding Choices).

Other third-party services (no cookies, but worth knowing about)

X (Twitter) — account links open directly on x.com in a new tab; nothing from X is embedded or loaded on this site.
Wikipedia / Wikimedia Commons — circuit track images are loaded directly from Wikimedia, under their original Creative Commons / public-domain licenses.
Jolpica-F1, and official series sources — schedule, results and standings data. No personal data is exchanged with these when you browse the schedule.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Since this site doesn't hold accounts or personal profiles, most requests will simply relate to cookie consent, which you control directly through the banner and your browser settings.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant age in your region) and does not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site adds features (e.g. when advertising or analytics go live). Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
